Why we made this

If the Scarab is Goldilock's happy-medium, the Dagga is anything but. We built the Dagga to see what happens when you hit the limit of ultimate grip.

We make no bones about it, the Dagga isn't for everyone. It's our biggest, burliest, grippiest MTB flat pedal, built for downhill, freeride, and aggressive trail riding.

Designed with input from Chris Kovarik, it features a large platform, our extra spicy Dagga traction pins, and a shape that offers maximum traction and control.

If you want to tone it down a bit, our standard pins also work with the Dagga. For riders looking for the most aggressive MTB pedals, this is it.

CNC Machining

CNC Machining is a process in which a piece of raw material or stock is cut into a final desired shape using a computer controlled machine and often several different machine tools. Depending on the operation in question different tools are called, for example ball mills, end mills, thread mills, taps and slitting saws to name a few, all have different uses and come in all manner of shapes and sizes.

Machining produces extremely accurate parts, often to within 0.001" (I know, Canada is mostly metric but the industry predominately uses imperial units), and is renowned for creating a very high-end look with 3D surfacing and clean, strong edges which forging cannot produce.

Because every aspect of the part must be "cut out" machined parts take a long time to produce. A Ranger body for example takes 20 minutes to machine (the face plate is made separately), then it still needs to be deburred, quality checked, anodised, laser etched and assembled.

key features

All of our pedals are built upon this foundation.

G3 Axle System

We designed the G.3 axle system with longevity and serviceability in mind.

The G.3 system uses a high-strength chromoly axle with a double seal, inner bushing, and outer cartridge bearing.

The Pilot & Radar use all the same components, but with a shorter axle. We designate this axle as F.1.

Available here
Replaceable Pins

Our pin system is height adjustable via the included washers. They are easily replaceable from the other side of the pedal body, even if damaged.

Some models feature alternate pin locations for customization, or if existing holes are damaged.

Each set comes with spare pins.

Colours

All of our pedals are available in a wide range of colours to suit your style and match the rest of your bike.

(Even if your style is all black everything.)

Pedal FAQ's

All of our pedals use a 9/16" x 20tpi thread which is standard in the bike industry.

Our pedals will fit almost any bike with the exception of low-end 1 piece BMX cranks, some kids bikes or other very old bicycles.

Yes! You will get both a left and a right pedal.

Pedals have specific left and right threads (so they don't unscrew while you pedal). It is very important these are installed on the correct side.

The left pedal axle does have a little ridge around it (this becomes important if you are servicing your pedals), but the easiest way to tell is that the graphics/logos read the correct way around from the rider's point of view.

Yes! You will get some spare pins & washers in the box.

Your pedals will last a very long time. It's not uncommon for our pedals to last a decade or more with the right care.

The main wear you will encounter is damaged pins which are easily replaceable. If you run out, we sell packs here.

Sometimes it's a good idea to do a complete service on your pedals if they are running rough or if you have managed to bend an axle. You can change the axle, bushings and bearings which can be purchased here.

However more often than not, a quick strip-down, clean and regrease will keep your pedals running smooth for years to come.

Essentially Q-Factor is the distance between the pedal attachment points on the crank arms, also referred to as Tread. It could also be described as the width of your crankset. This affects your stance, if you've ever been snowboarding think of it as the same thing, essentially the distance between your feet.

Read up on it here.

Grease the threads and use pedal washers.

The graphic will read correctly from the riders POV, to help you identify the left and right side.

Give each of the pins a little 1/8 turn to make sure they are tight. You can adjust the height of the pins by adding/removing washers.

Best grip ever.
Dagga pedals have great grip and the large platform perfectly connects the foot to the wheel.
It is the best choice for racing rides.

Best flats I’ve tried

These pedals feel great under foot and I’ve never been so confident in my footing! I wasn’t sure anything would beat my previous favourite pedal the Nukeproof Horizon bit the Dagga is definitely better! I also love how the silver matches my silver Riza stem.

Really great pedals that you can bravely ride in downhill championships and take on crates, they hold you even in the toughest conditions.

Solid and Grippy

While the tall pins look scary, they really lock in your feet! The downside to that is that I need to almost completely lift my foot off to make minor position adjustments, but I consider that a worthwhile tradeoff for how well they stick to your shoes!

The wide stance works great on my DH bike to keep things stable on chunkier terrain, and I always love my ano purple!

Speaking from experience, be mindful when walking your bike to avoid pushing these pedals into the back of your leg…

Love them

Love the grip and support of the pedal platform, only pedal that isnt giving me foot pain and foor cramps, but it comes with a price, those pins are ruthless for your shins, i got slightly kissed by the pedal recently.

The ultimate mtb pedal

This pedal is by far, the most durable, stylish and best grip that I have come across. Others wear out within a year or 2. Not these, they are bullet proof. 5 yrs of all season hard riding and no issues. Thank you for creating a quality product!

Stuck like glue

This is my second pair of these pedals and I love them. These pedals are super sticky and have a large platform, pins are easy to change out. Best pedals on the market in my opinion.

Who’s looking for a fight??!!

Rippa of a pedal. Scared to look at those sick pussies the wrong way. They’ll come at cha double cheeked up on a Tuesday and won’t let go. Chunky, just how I like my women and clingy as the ex. These pedals are more reliable than an avalanche rescue dog. Would recommend these to mee best mate and worst enemy so we could have a fight lata. There ya have it. Their straight daggas!!! Who’s yur daddy.

The calf rippers

Really like the wide stance and big size, allows for multiple foot positions and you large-footed people will have lots of real estate. Lots of pins so you can remove some to customize the feel. Can't really speak to durability because these are just on my dirt jumper, but they seem like they'd be plenty durable. Grip is phenomenal - just watch it when you're walking beside your bike...

Tough, Grippy, NA Made

I can't really find anything negative to say about the Daggas. The level of grip changed my expectations for flat pedals, they offer so much security while the platform delivers support to fight foot fatigue during long days. The internals are bulletproof and lasted me for years before a rebuild was even in question.

No compromises

I’ve been running the Daggas with regular pins for past few months and they are definitely the best pedals I’ve had. The grip and platform is so solid. I’ve never even come close to slipping a pedal. Will definitely be getting a pair for the other bike soon.

All the grip All the durability

I’ve been on Daggas since they first launched. 5.10 Freeriders + Daggas gives almost all the benefits of being clipped in with all the benefits of being able to step off at any time. While I own several pairs which are fitted to the 3-4 bikes I have built up at any time, I’ve yet to kill a set. I think I’ve only ever serviced 1 set and it’s super easy but my e-bike with 5000k’s on it has had Daggas since day 1 and they are still smooth. Git sum!

Absolutely outstanding pedals and top notch service!

The pedals are simply incredible. The build quality is amazing, spare pins are included, and they look absolutely awesome.

I had my pedals shipped to Germany and ran into an issue with customs. Dave handled the problem immediately and took care of everything. It is great to know that Chromag always responds quickly and finds solutions even when the situation is time-consuming and annoying. The communication was super friendly, fast, and genuinely helpful.

All in all, fantastic product and fantastic people. Highly recommended!
